Mr. Oyelola is a graduate of law from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and also had his Postgraduate degree in Zaria and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1983. Abayomi has gained vast experience in legal and management practice. Numerate and articulate, he has adapted with ease to the professional and corporate demands of multifarious corporate practice and has enjoyed complex problem solving under pressure of deadlines. His career and development which is multi-disciplinary has accorded him the opportunity of being a well-rounded personality.

Abayomi has attended several courses including the following among others; –Foreign Investment Negotiation at the International Law Institute, Washington D.C.; Negotiating International Joint Venture at the International Law Institute, Washington D.C.; Maritime Law Short Course, University of Southampton, U.K.; Corporate Governance Issues, Lagos Business School, Lagos; His most recent outing was at the Nigerian Institute For Policy & Strategic Studies, Kuru.

He is a member of the following bodies;- Executive Member, Nigeria Bar Association; Member, International Bar Association, London; Member, American Arbitration Association; His main practice areas include: Litigation/Arbitration, Corporate/Commercial, Foreign Investment, Special Projects/Emerging Issues and Intellectual Property.
